Mount Pleasant is where the street-legal cart went mainstream. From the Old Village's shaded grid to I'On's alleys to the long boulevards of Carolina Park and Park West, carts run errands, carry paddleboards toward Shem Creek, and idle in every school pickup line in town. It is the biggest cart population we serve, spread across the widest range of conditions.
Those conditions split the town in two. East of Coleman Boulevard, the Old Village and anything near Shem Creek or the harbor sits in genuinely salty air; a cart parked a block off Pitt Street corrodes more like a Sullivan's cart than an inland one, and the shrimp-boat end of Shem Creek adds marsh funk to the mix. Less of one, and your money goes further on interior work and UV protection than on salt defense. You are still in Lowcountry humidity, so terminals and fasteners appreciate the $35 treatment once a year, but your paint's main enemy is sun, not spray.
Can you do two carts at one house?
Gladly, and plenty of Mount Pleasant households have his-and-hers or house-and-teenager carts. Two carts in one visit saves us a trip, and we price the second cart accordingly. Ask when you book.
Do you serve the neighborhoods out Highway 41?
